Privacy Policy

RSS Tech Watch is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.

Data we store

• A randomly generated session identifier (kept in sessionStorage of your browser) used to display the "Connected Users" count on the admin page.
• Your IP address, browser, and device type, associated to that session id, stored in our database for up to 5 minutes after your last activity, then automatically deleted.
• Your favorites and personal feed selection — stored in our database without any account or identifier tying them back to you.

What we do not do

• We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
• We do not share data with third parties.
• We do not track you across other websites.

Hosting and infrastructure

The website is hosted on Vercel and the database on Supabase (EU region). Connection logs may be retained by these providers in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification or deletion of any personal data related to you. Contact details are listed on the Legal page.
